This coating offers resilient, mechanical stress-reducing PCB protection, and is low VOC. It extends component life by protecting against adverse environments, with resistance to moisture, salt, fungus, and corrosive vapors. Because of its exceptional dirt, dust, and soil repellency, the coated surfaces remain clean longer. Fine-L-Kote SRV cures quickly at ambient conditions or heat acceleration can speed in-line processing. Ready-to-use viscosities are available: standard (SRV) for manual and selective spray systems, and high viscosity (SRV 950) for dipping processes.Fine-L-Kote SRV is available in 2 viscosities:Standard - ready-to-use at 82cps.High - for extra thick coating, or to dilute as required.Silicone conformal coating provides excellent protection in a very wide temperature range. SR provides good chemical resistance, moisture and salt spray resistance, and is very flexible. Silicone conformal coating isn’t abrasion resistant because of its rubbery nature, but that property does make it resilient against vibrational stresses.
